With a strong northerly breeze throughout the day, migration was again limited to little more than a trickle. Out to sea there was nothing out of the ordinary, but good counts of 70 Gannets, 91 Razorbills and 44 Manx Shearwaters. Four Whimbrels and eight Turnstones were the only Waders of any note around the Narrows, which also held four White Wagtails, two Hooded Crows (probably the same birds last seen on the 12th), and a good proportion of the 12 Wheatears logged today.
A small passage of Linnets was detected overhead, helping bump the days total up to 134. The only other birds moving overhead were seven Swallows north and a single alba Wagtail south. Warblers and other songbirds are still thinly scattered around Bardsey, with 20 Willow Warblers, 17 Chiffchaffs and a single Goldcrest all that could be found today. A  Blue Tit remained around Nant, and 26 Goldfinches were counted today.

Lepidoptera enthusiasts could be buoyed by two Green-veined Whites, a Red Admiral and two Peacocks, but not by the Cristin Moth Trap which contained precisely zero moths! Buff-tailed and Garden Bumblebees and Common Carder Bees were on the wing despite the stiff northerly too, and two Slow Worms were in the Observatory Garden.
