The most interesting find of the day, unusually, took the form of a dragonfly: a Red-veined Darter at the lighthouse was only the second record of this migrant species for the island.

Birds were a bit thin on the ground, with just two Black Redstarts, two Redpolls, a Spotted Flycatcher, a Blackcap, a Common Kestrel, three Ruddy Turnstones and the remaining Black-tailed Godwit worth mentioning.
