An adult Oystercatcher was the only bird dazzled on a nocturnal visit to Solfach. As the night progressed the weather deteriorated and by midnight the foghorn had begun. However the potential for an attraction again amounted to nothing and Bardsey's birders awoke to a quiet day bird-wise. A different Wheatear proved shy in the Northwest Fields and only two Chiffchaff were located. Three Skylark frequented the West Coast.

The second Wheatear of the year was a dapper male (c) Richard Brown

Two Collared Dove remain at Ty Nesaf despite one of the pair having a run in with a Peregrine. The Collared Dove dropped into the seaweed covered rocks of Henllwyn and evidently managed to hide among the Grey Seals. When it reappeared in Ty Nesaf pines later in the day a few missing tail feathers was the only indication of the encounter (c) Richard Brown
