A Crossbill found near Ty Pellaf during the afternoon was the best sighting of a fairly quiet day. There was little sea passage compared with recent days, although a Red-throated Diver, two Balearic Shearwaters, 17 Common Scoters, three Arctic Skuas and a Great Skua were seen flying by. The Common Rosefinch was still present in its favourite garden and counts of other passerines included four Grey Wagtails, 15 White Wagtails, 12 Wheatears, a Sedge Warbler, ten Blackcaps, 18 Chiffchaffs, two Willow Warblers, 19 Goldcrests, a Spotted Flycatcher and two Siskins. Raptors were represented by three Kestrels, a Merlin, a Sparrowhawk and a Buzzard.
