The wind persisted from the north, bringing with it cold temperatures and a few migrants and common garden birds. Skylarks, Meadow Pipits, Grey Wagtails and Chaffinches flew overhead throughout the day whilst on land a few new birds had arrived; 3 Blue Tits, 3 Great Tits and 4 Greater spotted Woodpeckers were seen in the island's gardens. The Melodious Warbler remained at Cristin 2 Reed Warblers were in the withies and 9 Goldcrests and 8 Chiffchaffs were in the plantation. The first Redwing of the autumn was seen above nant and a Song Thrush was in the gorse. Out at sea the same gull flock was feeding near Carreg Yr Honwy in the early morning; amongst 120 Black-headed Gulls, 2 Mediterranean Gulls, 9 Common Gulls and a few Kittiwakes also joined in to the flock.
