A drake Eider flying past the north end was the uninspiring highlight of another rather humdrum day. A Great Northern Diver, a Great Skua and a couple of Fulmars passed by early in the morning but, other than small numbers of lingering finches, tits and thrushes, a Grey Wagtail was the only noteworthy landbird.
