Another quiet day didn’t present many more birds then yesterday’s shocking amount. The two Ring Plovers were back on Solfach accompanied by the Dunlin and three Lapwings. The usual Great Tits, Blue Tits and Chaffinches frequented the feeders in the Island ’s gardens.
A Skylark was in the arable fields.
The usual Buzzard hangs around the wetlands, poised to catch a stray Moorhen or even a farm duck. pictures (c) Ben Porter
