More miserable wet weather produced little to report, and poor visibility resulted in the day’s best birds getting away unidentified: a possible Black-throated Diver flew by at sea and a distant flock of grey geese also evaded specific identification. The best definite sightings were a Dunlin, 11 Siskins, three Chiffchaffs and five Goldcrests
