Another cool and clear day saw a few birds scattered around; the Grey Phalarope was still in Henllwyn, a Long eared Owl was flushed out of Cristin garden in the afternoon whilst a couple Bramblings, two Siskins, two Redpolls and a Reed Bunting moved through in the morning. Another productive 10-minute sea watch resulted in 13 Eider Ducks, a Great northern Diver, 3 Common Scoter and the usual birds that pass by every day; 150 Black headed Gulls, a Mediterranean Gull, three Common Gulls, 14 Kittiwakes and 300 Razorbills were logged today.

Some more photos of yesterday's incredibly confiding first-winter Grey Phalarope. A huge thanks to Giselle Eagle for finding this stunner and distracting the obs staff from kitchen fitting. All photos (c) Richard Brown
