In the region of 1300 Sky Larks were seen today as the mainland continues its big chill



 Several flocks of 100 or more were noted in stubble and grassy fields



 Several flocks of Snipes, including one of 18 birds were seen
 Some birds like the Meadow Pipit below went pond skating!
 A Water Pipit was seen on the West Coast
 Up to 18 Mistle Thrushes were amongst the Redwings and Song Thrushes
 And a few shots of some of today's five Woodlarks that were seen around the island
