Yet another quiet day bird-wise continued the quiet winter pattern. Most birds were feeding in and on Solfach as usual with counts of commoner species coming to: a Grey Heron, five Shelducks, fifteen Mallards, five Purple Sandpipers, twenty two Redshanks, twenty one Turnstones, twenty three Rock Pipits, a Pied Wagtail and twenty eight Choughs. Two Woodpigeons at nant were the only other birds of note.
