Mist carpeted the by the morning, and halted much of the bird action. A Lapland Bunting in the north-west fields, a female Yellowhammer again at Ty Pellaf, the second Sandwich Tern of the year off the west side, a Stock Dove in the hay fields and a Ring Ouzel were the highlights. Common migrant numbers were also very low, with counts coming to: twenty six Swallows, twelve Sand Martins, a House Martin, a Tree Pipit, twenty six Wheatears, two Whitethroats, three Blackcaps, three Grasshopper Warblers, two Sedge Warblers, five Chiffchaffs and twenty three Willow Warblers. Seven Ring Plovers were feeding in Solfach and five Whimbrels were seen in the morning.
