A few migrants had arrived during the night, and were sparsely scattered around the island: 12 Sedge Warblers, four Whitethroats, a Blackcap, three Chiffchaffs, three Willow Warblers, ten Spotted Flycatchers, seven Goldfinches and four Lesser Redpolls were seen. A Starling and a Collared Dove were present at the north end of the island, whilst the usual scattering of Skylarks and Wheatears comprised of five and 17 individuals respectively. Four Dunlins gathered in Solfach at high tide; the pair of Ringed Plovers, a Whimbrel and a couple of Curlews were also around the narrows. 11 Puffins and a 'Commic' Tern were the highlights from at sea, whilst a Kestrel was the only raptor of interest inland.
