Another warm day saw a few more interesting birds scattered around, and the numbers of migrants had increased overnight in comparison to that of yesterday. A Green Sandpiper was heard over the nant area in the early morning, and then seen in Henllwyn later on, and a Common Sandpiper was also seen in Cafn. The Corncrake was again heard singing in the plas fields, whilst a juvenile Cuckoo was seen at Nant. Two Common Snipe were in the wetlands, whilst Willow Warbler numbers bumped up to 34 birds, and a Blackcap was seen at Nant. A Starling was seen flying around the lowlands, whilst a Swift passed through with four Sand Martins and four House Martins; Redstart was seen above Cristin again.
