Another calm day saw one or two birds dotted around, although nothing scarce or rare was seen. The first Reed Warbler of the autumn was found in Ty Capel garden in the morning, where two Goldcrests and a Redstart were also seen. At high tide, waders were forced off Carreg Yr Honwy and into Henllwyn and by Solfach, with totals amounting to: four Ringed Plovers, four Whimbrels, 70 Curlews, 16 Redshanks, three Purple Sandpipers, a Dunlin and 34 Turnstones. Six Sandwich Terns passed by at sea and the usual Grey Heron was around the narrows.
