Another eventful day bird-wise saw two Icterine Warblers remaining on the island: one at Ty Nesaf and the ringed bird in Cristin Withy. The fifth Greenshank of the year was seen off the west side in the morning, whilst a Sanderling joined three Ringed Plovers, three Dunlins and 16 Turnstones in Solfach. A Snipe was seen in the wetlands in the morning, and a Teal was seen briefly on one of the ponds in the wetlands. A Garden Warbler and a Blackcap were at Nant, and three Goldcrests were scattered around. Three Tree Pipits were seen in the wetlands, a Grey Wagtail flew over the narrows and two Sand Martins passed through with 13 House Martins.

Today's Sanderling was a smarter bird than the previous one
Wheatears were again around the coast in good numbers, with 36 seen today
A couple of hundred Linnets were also around the island- many have been making use of the thistle heads recently
this Blackbird failed to dodge the Sparrowhawk's talons
