A fresh northerly wind had cleared many of the migrants from yesterday out, and left very few in their place. Two Merlins were seen around the coast in the morning, and the usual Sparrowhawk and Kestrel were inland. A Golden Plover flew around the south end, whilst three Ringed Plovers, 44 Turnstones, three Dunlins and two Common Sandpipers were in Solfach.
A Redstart, a Tree Pipit and a Spotted Flycatcher were seen at nant, whilst 38 Willow Warblers were scattered around; other warblers seen included: four Sedge Warblers, seven Whitethroats, a Blackcap, six Chiffchaffs and three Goldcrests. A Sand Martin passed through with four House Martins, and 73 Swallows were elsewhere.
