Nothing of much consequence had arrived during the night, although a scattering of migrants were on the island. The Icterine Warbler at nant was seen in the morning, and a flava Wagtail flew down the centre of the island in the afternoon. A Skylark was seen on the track in the morning, whilst hirundine seen included a Sand Martin, 66 Swallows and three House Martins. A decent gathering of waders at high tide included a Knot and five Sanderlings (one of which was trapped), whilst totals of other species amounted to: three Ringed Plovers, a Purple Sandpiper, five Dunlins, 43 Turnstones, a Common Sandpiper, six Whimbrels, 41 Curlews and 12 Redshanks. Ten Sandwich Terns gathered on Carreg Yr Honwy, whilst a Sparrowhawk was the only noteworthy bird of prey around.
