Another breezy day saw a few noteworthy birds around, although most were located out to sea. A Sooty Shearwater, a Pomarine Skua, two Long-tailed Skuas and four Great Skuas were the highlights from out to sea, whilst a small passage of terns included five Sandwich Terns, four Common Terns, an Arctic Tern and three 'Commic' Terns. Four Bar-tailed Godwits and a Knot flew south in the morning, whilst eight Ringed Plovers, a Sanderling, two Dunlins and five Whimbrels were the most noteworthy waders around the narrows at high tide. 33 Wheatears were dotted around the coast, most of which were greenland race birds; other passerines around included a Skylark, a House Martin, two Whitethroats, three Chiffchaffs and two Goldcrests.

 Whimbrel and Bar-tailed Godwit
More greenland race Wheatears are arriving on the coast
