Another day of brisk northerlies continued to push many seabirds close to the island's coasts: two Red-throated Divers, 10 Leach’s Petrels, eight Brent Geese, a Red-breasted Merganser, 28 Golden Plovers, a Lapwing, two Grey Phalaropes, six Pomarine Skuas, 14 Arctic Skuas, six Great Skuas, 10 Mediterranean Gulls, a Little Gull and four Sabine’s Gulls were the most notable species seen. A Wryneck was found by the limekiln, and showed very well at intervals during the morning.
