A Black Redstart, two Woodcocks, a Snipe and a Water Rail in Cristin Withy were the highlights, if they can be called such, of another blustery and showery day. A total of 4500 Starlings passed over the island throughout the day, whilst the odd migrant sheltering from the wind further inland included a Fieldfare, four Song Thrushes, seven Blackcaps, six Chiffchaffs, 13 Goldcrests, 64 Chaffinches, a Siskin, two Goldfinches and a Reed Bunting.
