Another day predominately of sea-passage saw strong, cold North-westerly winds persisting throughout the day. The totals of the scarcer seabirds off the island's coast during the day included eight Red-throated Divers, a Sooty Shearwater, 14 Leach's Petrels, 16 Common Scoters, seven Golden Plovers, 25 Arctic Skuas, two Long-tailed Skuas, five Great Skuas, a Mediterranean Gull, a Little Gull, a Common Gull, 57 Sandwich Terns, four Arctic Terns and two Common Terns. On the passerine front, four Grey Wagtails and two White Wagtails were present around the Narrows, the Melodious Warbler remained in Cristin garden and other warblers comprised of a Whitethroat, a Garden Warbler, a Blackcap, 10 Chiffchaffs, three Willow Warblers, eight Goldcrests and three Spotted Flycatchers.
