27th to 28th November

A Lapwing and three Fieldfares were the only different sightings of another very windy day on the 27th. The wind finally abated on the 28th, and saw a slight increase in the number of thrushes around: 25 Blackbirds, four Fieldfares, 16 Song Thrushes and four Redwings were recorded. Two pale, abetinus-type Chiffchaffs were seen at Ty Pellaf and in Cristin Withy. A Woodcock was flushed from the mountain and 13 Common Gulls passed by at sea.

The very mobile, abetinus-type Chiffchaff has remained around Ty Pellaf for the last few days, and another was present in the withies today
