After heavy rain during the morning, the wind died down and the sun came out in the afternoon, encouraging migrants to emerge from the vegetation. Six Grasshopper Warblers were seen or heard during the day, whilst a Whitethroat, two Sedge Warblers, 21 Blackcaps,  32 Chiffchaffs and 38 Willow Warblers were present in the island's gardens and wihties. 14 Whimbrels were seen around the Narrows in the morning, where two Sandwich Terns were also seen. 50 Wheatears were scattered around the coast.
Two Hooded Crows remained in the North-west Fields, and a Merlin flew over Pen Cristin.

Five Grasshopper Warblers were recorded today- many were singing deep in the vegetation, although a couple gave slightly better views
Whimbrel numbers are beginning to increase
