It was a marginally better day today, with a light Southerly breeze and occasional mist. The highlights of the morning included a Great Northern Diver off the South End, a Canada Goose on the Narrows, two Tree Pipits and a male Yellow Wagtail near Cristin.
Wheatear numbers had dropped to around 66 birds, whilst warbler numbers had increased: a Grasshopper Warbler, four Sedge Warblers, three Whitethroats, three Sedge Warblers, 10 Blackcaps, 15 Chiffchaffs, 62 Willow Warblers and five Goldcrests were recorded.
Singles of Merlin and Kestrel were recorded on the raptor front, and 62 Swallows moved through with 13 House Martins.
