A smaller selection of noteworthy avian arrivals was to be had on an altogether breezier day. A single Kestrel hawked over the mountain in the morning, whilst a single Whimbrel, four Turnstones and a Sanderling were recorded around the Narrows.

Another migrant Vestal was trapped at Nant today, whilst several Drinkers and Ruby Tigers were also caught.
Drinkers have been in good evidence in the withy moth traps recently. Top image picturing a female (left) and male (right)
