The only noteworthy birds to be seen around the island today were skuas- and even then there were only a handful seen. A total of four Pomarine Skuas, four Arctic Skuas, six Great Skuas and a possible Long-tailed Skua were recorded, along with a Black Guillemot, 10 Common Scoters, a Snipe, 78 Sandwich Terns and 16 Common Terns.

A small movement of passerine migrants in the morning consisted of a single Sand Martin, 70 Meadow Pipits, three Grey Wagtails, 26 Pied Wagtails, 26 White Wagtails, 27 'alba' Wagtails and two Spotted Flycatchers.
