It was a fairly quiet day, with a small respite between storms, although a few migrants passed through the island. A Firecrest at Cristin was the same bird as yesterday, and was re-trapped mid-morning; two Yellow-browed Warblers were seen between Nant and Cristin, whilst thrush numbers amounted to: 26 Blackbirds, 11 Song Thrushes and 29 Redwings. Two Little Gulls flew past out to sea.

The Goldcrests in Ty Pellaf garden have been very entertaining to watch in recent days, plucking small insects of the undersides of the apple-tree leaves
