Very few noteworthy birds were seen today, with the southerly winds continuing to halt any movements of migrants over the island. A small selection of new arrivals inland included a Yellow-browed Warbler trapped at Nant, a Reed Warbler at Ty Nesaf, a Water Rail heard calling in the withies, two Lesser Redpolls in Ty-Pellaf Withy, and a Reed Bunting over Ty Pellaf. A single Puffin and one Mediterranean Gull were the highlights from out to sea.
