The wind was firmly set in the south throughout the 10th and the 11th, although a few passerine-migrants made an appearance on the island today. A good total of 16 Blackbirds, two Fieldfares and two Song Thrushes was recorded, most of which were new arrivals. A single Greenfinch in Cristin garden on the 11th was another new arrival, and a single Goldcrest was prompted to call out when the large female Sparrowhawk darted past the Plantation.
