After a night of gale-force south-easterly winds, it was a much more pleasant day, with light northerlies allowing a handful of migrants to move through. A White Wagtail and three Wheatears were seen around the coast in the early hours, whilst the Black Redstart remained near the Abbey, and seven Chiffchaffs were scattered in the gardens. Two Stock Doves were seen in the Plantation, and the year's first Collared Dove was seen at Cristin.
