It was another day of strong south-westerly winds, but even sea passage was very slow in the blustery gales. The highlights of the day's seawatching efforts included seven Wigeons, 23 Common Scoters, five Arctic Skuas and nine Mediterranean Gulls. Counts for commoner species were also made during the day: 21 Manx Shearwaters, 178 Gannets, 365 Black-headed Gulls, four Common Gulls, 100 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 424 Kittiwakes, 14 Guillemots and 430 Razorbills were recorded. In terms of passerines, a single Blackcap, Yellow-browed Warblers and Reed Bunting were seen.
