Yellow-browed Warblers were the highlight today with
lingering birds in Plas Withy and at Cristin. Varied sea passage amounted to two
Pomarine Skuas, five Arctic Skuas, six Great Skuas, 27 Mediterranean Gulls, three
Little Gulls, 1100 Black-headed Gulls, 65 Common Gulls, 1242 Kittiwakes, 977
Razorbills, one Great Northern Diver, three Manx Shearwaters, 70 Gannets, three
Grey Herons, seven Teals, and six Common Scoters.
A total of three Buzzards, three Kestrels, two Merlins, one
Water Rail, one Lapwing, one Snipe, one Great Spotted Woodpecker, six Skylarks,
five Grey Wagtails, one Song Thrush, one Redwing, two Blackcaps, seven
Chiffchaffs, 36 Goldcrests, 25 Coal Tits, three Great Tits, one Rook, one
Hooded Crow, five Ravens, nine Starlings, 89 Chaffinches, 11 Siskins, 14
Goldfinches, one Lesser Redpoll, and one Reed Bunting were found across the
island.
