Blustery
conditions encouraged five Sandwich
Terns, two Common Terns, nine Arctic Terns to saunter
by at sea, with nine Common Scoters not too far behind. Waders were
also on the move as one Golden Plover, 12 Knots, eight Purple Sandpipers, eight Dunlins, three Snipes, one
Bar-tailed Godwit, and 82 Turnstones were recorded either on the
West Coast or on the Narrows.
A single
Tree Pipit made it through alongside
three Grey Wagtails, seven Pied Wagtails, four White Wagtails, eight Chiffchaffs, eight Willow Warblers, and ten
Goldcrests.
