A few new birds had arrived over night in small numbers and were spread across the island today, however, during the day there was next to no visible migration taking place. A handful of thrushes were the most noticeable additions mostly habiting the gardens and Withies, six Blackbirds, seven Song Thrushes and a Redwing the total sums. A single Skylark moved high over the Lowlands whilst below six Meadow Pipits moved around the fields, the Willow Warbler was present in the Withies along with a female Blackcap and two Chiffchaffs, seven Goldcrests, a Blue Tit, 100 Starlings, two Chaffinches, and singles of Siskin and Goldfinch were seen elsewhere.

The daily mass of Gulls and Auks moved off the coast, however fewer were recorded today, 24 Black-headed Gulls, a Common Gull, ten Herring Gulls, three Greater Black-backed Gulls, 214 Kittwakes, 28 Guillemots and 184 Razorbills making up the totals.
