Today has been the windiest day of the season, with southerly winds reaching 30mph on Bardsey. Six Manx Shearwaters were counted during the evening, which is the highest count so far, though numbers will rapidly rise in the coming days/weeks! Three Black-tailed Godwits came in off the sea at West Coast, but they flew straight over in a NE direction. An hour long, windswept seawatch produced counts of auks in the low teens, along with 14 Kittiwakes and 4 Great Black-backed Gulls. Small numbers of Meadow Pipits have been seen coming in off the sea as well.

Besides that, six Wheatears were recorded, which is the highest count so far and a sign that migration season is here.
