Slightly calmer morning, still light rain but the wind speed was lower. The morning bird census was slightly shortened by having to unload diesel from the boat to take up to Cristin. But a very brief seawatch on South End did produce one Manx Shearwater and three Puffins. Around were: 122 Oystercatchers, two Purple Sandpipers, one Whimbrel, two Curlews, 19 Redshanks, 16 Turnstones, one Merlin, four Blackcaps, 29 Meadow Pipits, six Rock Pipits and just one Wheatear.
