It turned wet and windy again, with an afternoon dry enough for census. The highlights of the day was an arrival of Spotted Flycatchers with eight across the island. Siskins, Goldfinches and Lesser Redpolls continued to take advantage of the feeders in the Observatory Garden.

Following the storms a large amount of seaweed has washed up on Solfach. There were also Herring Gulls and Great Black-backed Gulls feeding on Spider Crabs and a Spotted Dogfish. These species are not uncommon off the coast of Bardsey but are usually found in deeper water.

The South End is now in full colour with a carpet of Spring Squill, Thrift and Common Bird's Foot TrefoilSea Campion and Sea Mayweed are growing on the cliffs.
