It was a calm, albeit late start to the day for the team on Bardsey, Yesterday and the early morning was spent ringing Storm Petrels and Manx Shearwaters at the North End. It was a good start with five Storm Petrels in the first round. A total of 16 were ringed with a single British control.

Stuart and Louis had an excellent moth morning, particularly the trap that was placed in Ty Bach garden. The sixth record of Pebble Prominent was recorded as well as the second and third records of Brussels Lace - after only having the first record earlier in the year!

A few seawatching sessions through the day produced a few cetaceans including five Common Dolphins and two Risso's Dolphins. Though the Great Skua flew low over the West Coast whilst Stuart, Louis and Megan were having a swim. Fortunately they were able to radio in time for a few people to see it. It was an otherwise quiet day with warbler and wader migration remaining steady.

Chris and Phil spent another day working hard on the solar panels. All the panels are now on the frames and although this seems like the hard part the difficult wiring is left until tomorrow.
