A mixed weather day with heavy rain first thing clearing up mid-morning and being replaced by strong winds. This reduced the amount of bird activity around the Island with the Jack Snipe still in the Wetlands along with four Snipe, a Grey Heron was on Pwll Cain and 100+ Manx Shearwaters off the West Coast at dusk the only birds on note.

A short seawatch, early afternoon produced four Fulmars, nine Gannets, 28 Kittiwakes, 59 Guillemots, three Puffins and 36 Razorbills off the West Coast.

Other birds recorded today included two Redshanks, a Skylark, a Goldcrest and a Chiffchaff.

Most of the day was spent painting the living room and library ceiling and starting with the plastering of the walls.
