A strong easterly wind saw little arrival passerine wise however, as increase in Waders saw 19 Dunlins, four Purple Sandpipers, six Ringed Plovers, six Whimbrels and a Common Sandpiper around the Narrows and Solfach.

Other birds recorded today included a Buzzard, two White Wagtails, six Sedge Warblers, three Whitethroats, seven Blackcaps, four Chiffchaffs, five Willow Warblers and a Chaffinch.

During the evening, an attempt at dazzling produced five Dunlins, two Ringed Plovers, a Purple Sandpiper and a 'Greenland' Wheatear
