A calm north-westerly wind meant the nets could be opened at Cristin during the morning. The highlights were an adult House Martin, a Swallow, seven Willow Warblers and two Whitethroat. The first Marsh Harrier of the year spent five minutes hunting the Wetlands before heading south. The calmer wind meant the sea was quiet with five Common Scoters and a Sandwich Tern the only notable birds. Also seen today was two Kestrels, three Whimbrels and a Collared Dove.
