Still for much of the day, light south westerly winds. Thick fog set in from mid-morning until the evening which dropped a few birds, bringing a bit of variety to the day.

The highlights of the day were the first Redstart of the year, with a female seen in the South End Gorse, two Pied Flycatchers around the island (a male in the Carreg Withy, and a female ringed at Cristin), a mobile Tree Pipit, a Lesser Whitethroat at Cristin, and a beautifully bright Wood Warbler which was ringed in the Nant Plantation. A 'Flava' wagtail was also heard calling from a distance towards Treath Ffynnon before passing over the wetlands, however it was not seen to nail the identification.

Two Sandwich Terns called loudly out of the murk as they passed the North End. Despite the fog, a House Martin and 14 Swallows were recorded. Migrant warbler totals came to 11 Sedge Warblers, five Whitethroats, five Garden Warblers, 18 Blackcaps, 16 Chiffchaffs, 41 Willow Warblers, and two Goldcrests. There were also two Spotted Flycatchers, and three Siskins and 12 Wheatears.

Other birds included seven Shelducks at the South End, a Merlin and Common Sandpiper on the Narrows, eight Turnstones on Solfach, a Curlew on Henllwyn, and 15 Whimbrels around the coast, as well as a Feral Pigeon on the South End. The first Stonechat fledglings of the year were recorded, with two juveniles seen in the West Coast Gorse, and two Song Thrush fledglings seen around the Cristin Withy.
