The stand out highlight of the day was a Turtle Dove found during the late afternoon at Pen Cristin; the bird showed well to begin with before disappearing towards Traeth Ffynnon. A trip around the East Side saw the last two Shag chicks of the year to be ringed alongside one of four Fulmar chicks present.
Other birds of note included two Grey Herons, two Whimbrels, 42 Curlews, five Redshanks, a Common Sandpiper, eight Turnstones, four Razorbills, a Sand Martin, a Chiffchaffs and four Willow Warblers.
