An Easterly wind shifting Northerly at force 3 brought calm conditions with Sea State 2, good visibility, dry weather, and a warm top temperature of 22°C.

There was a notable increase in passerine migration across the island with a passage of 337 Swallows (including 247 flying south/east through Narrows in the morning), 14 House Martins, two Sand Martins, 41 White Wagtails, 19 Alba Wagtails, four Pied Wagtails, eight Grey Wagtails, two Tree Pipits, and two Swifts. Passerines on the ground included 28 Linnets, 18 Robins, 15 Rock Pipits, 13 Willow Warblers, five Chiffchaffs, four Blackcaps, a Reed Warbler, a Whitethroat, 13 Meadow Pipits, 12 Woodpigeons, two Wheatears, a female Redstart at Nant.

Some offshore passage was also noted with an adult Roseate Tern heading south being the highlight. Other species included 31 Arctic Terns, eight Sandwich Terns, a Puffin flying south through Narrows, and a Razorbill off Solfach, 49 Shags, 47 Gannets, 39 Kittiwakes, 38 Manx Shearwaters, 31 Common Scoters off the West Coast, eight Fulmars, four Teal, one Mediterranean Gull and a Cormorant. Coastal wader activity included 44 Curlews, 40 Turnstones (including a roost of 24 at Carreg yr Honwy), 10 Sanderlings at Solfach, 10 Ringed Plovers, eight Dunlin, five Grey Herons, three Whimbrels, two Snipe, two Greenshanks, two Redshanks, and two Common Sandpipers. 

Marine mammal observations were active off the West Coast, featuring 30 Common Dolphins and eight Risso's Dolphins in the afternoon. Terrestrial mammals included two Wood Mice and a Common Pipistrelle in the Observatory garden.

Invertebrates enjoyed the warm conditions, highlighted by a male Clouded Yellow on the Mountain, 80 Pyrausta despicata micro-moths at Narrows, 24 Large Whites, 16 Painted Ladies, 12 Speckled Woods, 12 Rush Veneers,  six Common Blues, three Graylings, three Orange Swifts, two Humming-bird Hawk-moths, seven Migrant Hawkers and an Emperor Dragonfly at Plas.
