A juvenile Whinchat in the south end gorse was another new autumn addititon, and a Tree Pipit was also seen around the south tip. A juvenile Redstart was seen in the plantation, and three Spotted Flycatchers were by Ty Nesaf. A Grasshopper Warbler was at nant, whilst the usual Collared Dove was in Ty Nesaf pines and 38 House Martins were gathered around the lighthouse. Three Purple Sandpipers joined the usual waders at hight tide, today including a Dunlin,12 Turnstones, four Whimbrels, 13 Redshanks and 60 Curlews; a Common Sandpiper was seen by Ty Pellaf. Four Black-headed Gulls and two Sandwich Terns were seen at sea.
