A Pallas's Warbler in Ty Pellaf garden mid-morning brightened up a rather dull day immensely. In contrast to the bird at Nant on Wednesday, this bird showed extremely well as it fed almost hyper-actively around the apple trees for most of the day.
Very few birds were seen elsewhere: a Pomarine Skua and five Mediterranean Gulls were seen at sea during the morning, whilst a few passerines passing through included five Skylarks, 25 Meadow Pipits, two Song Thrushes, two Redwings, two Blackcaps, six Chiffchaffs, 50 Chaffinches, two Siskins, 11 Goldfinches, two Lesser Redpolls and a Bullfinch.
