It was a very miserable day weather-wise, with heavy rain and strong North-westerlies persisting all day. A few migrants had arrived and passed through in the overcast conditions, with totals of passerine-migrants for the day amounting to seven Swallows, two White Wagtails, two Wheatears, a Fieldfare, a Song Thrush, two Redwings, three Blackcaps, four Chiffchaffs, 26 Willow Warblers and three Goldcrests.
