The best bird of the day came in the form of a juvenile
Marsh Harrier which was seen above Plas mid-morning, before it disappeared off Eastwards. A
Golden Plover was pick of the wader selection in the morning, along with three
Purple Sandpipers and three
Common Sandpipers. Three
Sandwich Terns fed off the West side in the afternoon, whilst the juvenile
Cuckoo remained inland.
