The wind finally abated and the rain stopped, although
this did little to revive the birdlife. A
Black-tailed Godwit around the
Narrows, three
Arctic Skuas off the west side and a
Little Egret off the North end were the highlights of the day. A
Common Sandpiper, five
Purple Sandpipers and 40
Turnstones were present at high tide, four
Snipe were seen near Ty-Pellaf Withy, whilst the
Willow Warbler figure increased to nine.
