The wind finally abated and the rain stopped, although this did little to revive the birdlife. A Black-tailed Godwit around the Narrows, three Arctic Skuas off the west side and a Little Egret off the North end were the highlights of the day. A Common Sandpiper,  five Purple Sandpipers and 40 Turnstones were present at high tide, four Snipe were seen near Ty-Pellaf Withy, whilst the Willow Warbler figure increased to nine.
